Ending 2022 with reflection and gratitude as we dive into our annual wrap-up (and what a year it has been!)

We hit the ground running, officially launching our Graduate Recruitment program in January 2022

new-graduate-offering

After a lot of behind-the-scenes preparation, we began 2022 with gusto by expanding our offering to include an incredible value-packed Graduate Program. Providing businesses the opportunity to recruit smarter, not harder in an increasingly competitive and candidate-driven market.

Proudly offering an entry-level pathway for those new to the mortgage broking industry or individuals fresh from university. We designed the program to bridge the gap between those looking to enter the industry and businesses hunting for great talent (without the inflation caused by an exceptionally competitive market).

Since day dot of our newest pillar, we’ve seen incredible success! With business owners embracing the opportunity to build and mentor talented individuals from the ground up.

We farewelled some old faces and welcomed some new

To assist us as we continue to grow, develop and expand as a business, we had the pleasure of opening our doors to Huw Thomas in June and Ana Baweja in September.

Welcoming some new faces as we supported Nyree and Neva in their external endeavours.

And cheered on Erika and Dat as they continue to go from strength to strength!

internal-promotions-celebrations

Establishing themselves further within the team, we saw Erika and Dat earn two internal promotions (each!) throughout the year. With well-deserved congratulations, we proudly announce to you Dat Dao, Recruitment Lead – VIC  and Erika Tan, Principal Recruitment Consultant!

With Dat embracing his inner leader to mentor and manage the Vic team as recruitment lead, and Erika tackling the strategy and growth side of our NSW department as Principal Recruitment Consultant. Together, working closely with Managing director, Roland Youakim to shape the future and success of Platinum People Group.

A power-house duo with no signs of slowing!

We turned five and had a hoot of a time celebrating (in person!) with our PPG community

5-year-anniversary-celebrations

Finally able to host events in person again, we wasted no time planning a birthday party to remember. Gathering to celebrate our fifth-anniversary milestone. Humbled to have 50 or so of our closest friends, family and clients by our side as we marked the occasion.

With heartfelt appreciation to all those who made it to the celebrations – your presence and good vibes certainly made it a night we’ll always cherish. We couldn’t be more grateful to all those who have supported us on our journey thus far.

And our Managing Director FINALLY got to go on his honeymoon…

After 2 years of lockdowns, uncertainty and false starts – Roland and his beautiful wife Madison were finally able to take flight and have the honeymoon they had been dreaming of!

Backed by the support of the whole PPG team, Roland was able to enjoy his well-overdue break knowing the company was in good hands. From the incredible pictures, we can only conclude they had the trip of a lifetime.

We exceeded our ambitious target and raised a whopping $11,000+ in a call to end Domestic Violence!

Signing ourselves* (ahem, *Roland) up for a challenge like no other, PPG set out to raise $10,000 for NFP Safe Steps. Safe Steps is the only 24/7 family violence response centre in Victoria, providing a state-wide entry point for victim-survivors of domestic and family violence.

Climbing stairs in the Dandenongs for well past 24 hours (nonstop with zero sleep!!), Roland represented PPG and Safe Steps to raise a total of $11,383. Crucial funds that go directly to those who need them the most.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all those who donated.

Yet, most importantly, we continued to do what we do best!
