We’ve got an important question for you today… to tie or not to tie?
While perhaps that musing isn’t quite as perplexing as Hamlet’s ‘to be or not to be’, it can still baffle us sometimes, particularly when it comes to the professional space and attending job interviews. Some of us love the feeling of ‘suiting up’ and wearing a crisp tie to work, while others can’t wait to tear them off on a Friday evening.
If you’re attending a job interview, starting a new job, or going to an important meeting, take a moment to think about the impression you want to make. Think about your audience, and what the norm is for them. Will wearing a tie make a difference? Will it alter their perception of your success and professionalism?
We’ll leave that one to you.
